Mi-Rack addresses an issue that people generally wish to avoid thinking about: the unconscious bowel and bladder movements of people with lower-body paralysis. This device helps create a world where people with lower-body paralysis can lead a full and rewarding life of work and leisure just like everyone else, without worrying about unwanted accidents. Mi-Rack incorporates high-precision sensors, proprietary algorithms, and materials and shapes that fit to the buttocks, to provide a product that can keep users informed as discreetly as if it were part of their physical senses.

下半身麻痺を伴う方々を対象にした非接触の排尿、排泄検知センサーです。車椅子等の座面にセンサーをセットするだけで、排尿、排泄（尿や便）があった際に、お手元のスマートフォンにお知らせします。また排尿、排泄の量を5段階で確認する事が出来ます。これまでのように、排尿、排泄確認を意識することなく、仕事に全力で向き合い、余暇を思いっきり楽しむことができるようになります。

Mi-Rack is a non-contact excretion sensor for people with lower body paralysis. With an easy-to-install, sensor-equipped cushion, Mi-Rack sends a discreet notice to your smartphone upon detecting any excretion, which can be measured in five levels. This frees users from the hassle of regularly checking their diaper, and allows them to concentrate on work or leisure. The 30 cm by 30 cm cushion includes a controller and can run for around six months on three AAA batteries.
